Tiles vs adhesives — who needs the SDS
- Glazed/vitrified tiles (IS 15622) — typically no SDS for the tile SKU alone.
- Cementitious / polymer-modified adhesives — SDS required; alkalinity and cement dust hazards must be stated.
- Epoxy grouts & sealants — full GHS SDS; Part B hardeners are often the classified component.
- Anti-fouling or nano-coatings — may trigger restricted substance checks alongside RoHS-style testing.
